Job summary

Riverhills Neuroscience is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Norwood Office in the Interventional Pain Management department. The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4pm, with no weekends or holidays.

The RN will provide specialized post-surgical care, educate patients and families, document care and follow-up plans, and assist with administrative tasks. A state-licensed RN with EMR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• One year of formal RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with an EMR system and strong patient education skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and families on post-surgical care instructions and recovery expectations.
• Provide information on potential complications and follow-up care needs.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Provide health information, advice, and education to patients regarding symptoms, medications, and treatment plans over the phone.

Responsibilities

As a Nurse at Riverhills Neuroscience, you will play a crucial role in patient care, contributing to both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities include:

• Provide specialized care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures

Background And Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed by the State Board of Nursing
• One year of formal training as an Registered Nurse (RN) in a healthcare setting
• Progressive leadership experience preferred
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Strong patient education skills are preferred
