Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, provides, and manages nursing care, services, and health education to residents.

  • Supervise care/services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members.
  • Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
  • Assess residents' health and notify physicians of changes; implement new orders promptly.
  • Develop and implement care plans based on assessments.
  • Choose and execute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize or improve residents' conditions.
  • Contribute to assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and care plan development.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred; strong new graduates considered.
  • Current RN licensure in the state.
  • CPR certification.
