Premier Rehab & Healthcare at Burlington is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to lead nursing personnel and deliver high-quality resident care on an on-site unit. The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure health, safety, and well-being of residents in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily activities of Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with current regulations and facility policies.
  • Ensure nursing personnel comply with established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as required.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify physician and family as appropriate.
  • Accurately document resident status and changes in condition.
  • Transcribe physician orders to medical records and carry out orders as written.
  • Prepare and administer medications according to physician orders and monitor residents for adverse effects.
  • Perform wound treatments as ordered and document changes.
  • Schedule resident follow-up appointments and transportation needs.
  • Provide nursing leadership and guidance to personnel on the unit.
  • Provide direct nursing care including colostomy changes, tube feedings, wound care, suctioning, IV administration, etc.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure resident needs are met and duties completed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to address residents’ needs.
  • Communicate concerns or complaints to appropriate departments and file grievances as necessary.
  • Report incidents and participate in investigations as needed.
  • Participate in end-of-life care as required.
  • Monitor inventory and notify when resources are needed.
  • Initiate and update resident care plans as required.
  • Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication among staff.
  • Participate in surveys during regulatory inspections.

Job Summary

Premier Rehab & Healthcare at Burlington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care, lead nursing personnel, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure nursing personnel comply with established policies and procedures.

  • Participate in end-of-life care as required.
  • Monitor medication, supply, and equipment inventory and notify appropriate personnel when additional resources are needed.
  • Initiate, review, and update resident care plans as required.
  • Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication among staff.
  • Participate in the survey process when regulatory inspection surveys occur.
