Job summary

Sevita's Joyful Living Adult Day Center in Boston is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to adults and seniors in our day program. You will work closely with participants, families, nurses, and the care team to support health and well-being.

We offer a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, competitive pay of $36-38/hour plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participants’ health and wellness.
• Complete health assessments.
• Give medications and treatments as ordered.
• Help create and follow individual care plans.
• Provide health education and wellness support.
• Communicate with nurses, doctors, families, and other care team members.
• Help maintain a safe and caring environment.

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.
