Responsibilities

The RN plans, coordinates, provides, and manages nursing care, services, and health education for residents. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising care provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members
  • Administering safe and accurate medication interventions
  • Assessing residents' health and notifying physicians of changes
  • Developing and implementing care plans
  • Choosing appropriate interventions to stabilize or improve residents' conditions
  • Contributing to assessments and care planning
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in long-term care preferred; strong new graduates considered
  • Current RN licensure in the state
  • CPR certification
