Job summary

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled clinical care and monitor residents under established standards and individualized care plans.

Join a compassionate team with a values-driven culture. Responsibilities include medication administration, care plan implementation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff. Schedule includes 7:00am–7:30pm every other weekend; per diem shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required
• BLS Certification (CPR) required
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per physician’s plan and written care plan
• Follow care plans created by Nurse Manager
• Administer medications and treatments per care plan
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the clinical team
• Maintain accurate documentation per physician orders and policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for high-quality care
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high‑quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Maryland.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
