Job summary

Greens at Weaverville is seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Weaverville, NC. The opportunity offers full-time, part-time, and PRN roles with day and evening shifts, plus a sign-on bonus up to $12,000 for full-time hires.

As an RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, administer medications, and mentor CNAs and LPNs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Leadership abilities and a commitment to quality resident care.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition, communicating with physicians and appropriate healthcare providers.
• Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.
• Coordinate nursing care to promote resident safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety procedures, nursing standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented nursing environment.

RN Responsibilities
