Job summary

Greens at Weaverville in Weaverville, NC is seeking compassionate LPNs to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. We offer day & evening shifts, full-time/part-time/PRN, and a sign-on bonus up to $12,000 for full-time hires.

As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with the care team in a resident-centered environment. We support your growth with education assistance and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current, active NC LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as ordered.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Collect and document resident health information and contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered care environment.
