Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing team. In this role you will supervise clinical staff on your unit, provide guidance and education, and help maintain high standards of infection prevention and resident care.

Qualifications include an unencumbered Iowa RN license (or compact state) and prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
