Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center in Iowa is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse (RN) to join our friendly, caring team on the 3rd shift. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires and discuss shift differentials to reward overnight work.

As a staff nurse you will supervise the activities of all clinical staff on your unit, provide guidance and education, maintain infection prevention practices, and help ensure residents receive an exceptional standard of care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility preferable.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of clinical staff on the unit.
• Provide guidance and education to nursing staff.
• Maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing for residents' needs.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
