Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an Registered Nurse to join our team in Maryland. Provide direct resident care, assess needs, and ensure care plans meet state and federal guidelines. Growth opportunities and competitive compensation available.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience caring for residents in acute or long-term care is a plus.
• Must possess a current CPR license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in delivering resident care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Review resident records to ensure nursing practice meets state and federal guidelines.
• Review referrals for consultation, treatment or problem resolution in nurse plans.
• Evaluate resident responses to daily care and ensure care plans are met.
• Implement physician orders and nursing interventions as needed.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibilities.
• Set and implement goals and policies with FutureCare’s philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
