Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to residents. You will participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to ensure care plans meet state and federal guidelines.

You will review medical records, implement physician orders, monitor resident responses, and strive for ongoing professional growth within FutureCare’s nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• CPR license/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice complies with State and Federal guidelines.
• Review referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems as documented in nurse plans.
• Evaluate resident responses to daily nursing care to ensure care plans are met.
• Implement physician orders and nursing interventions as needed for resident care.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with FutureCare’s philosophy and purpose.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland


• 1 year of nursing experience preferred


• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus


• Must possess a current CPR license
