FutureCare is excited to open our second location in Anne Arundel County, FutureCare Annapolis. We are looking to hire a group of outstanding Nurses who are committed to providing a compassionate hands on approach to deliver the highest standards of quality, and who wear a badge of courage while supporting and caring for our residents. The facility is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade project with a goal of opening for business in late spring of 2025. FutureCare Annapolis will be licensed as a 154-bed skilled nursing facility serving the post-acute and long-term care needs of the community. FutureCare Annapolis is situated in the suburban Annapolis area near a development called Heritage Harbor which is just a few minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland and has easy access to major travel arteries. The center will provide ample parking, attractive common areas, and an expansive rehabilitation gym and suite. Patient rooms are spacious with high ceilings. When the renovations are complete the center will be stunning.

Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
  • Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
  • Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
  • Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
  • Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
  • Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred
  • Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
  • Must possess a current CPR license
