Job summary

Staunton Post Acute and Rehabilitation in Staunton, VA is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide resident-centered care within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with competitive hourly pay, shift differentials, and daily pay options. Stateside shifts are 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with weekday and weekend requirements and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Active VA RN license required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards, orders, and state guidelines.
• Plan nursing interventions for each resident and monitor their implementation.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust interventions as needed.
• Conduct family and resident education.
• Administer medications and treatments timely per policy.
• Transcribe physician orders and document care accurately.
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family.
• Coordinate resident rehabilitation with therapists to meet needs.
• Ensure CNA tasks are completed and assignments are managed.
