Qualifications

• CT RN license required
• BLS certification by American Heart Association
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; records and communicates patient condition.
• Coordinating care across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates ability to assess diverse patient needs to provide individualized care.
• Delegates care to other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds.
• Adheres to ANA standards and ethical guidelines.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans.
• Engages in professional growth activities; other duties as assigned.
