Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a part-time RN for a 12-hour day shift, PRN coverage. You will implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in line with established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will advocate for patients, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, Indiana RN license, CPR certification on hire or within 60 days, and 1+ year

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• 1+ years of RN experience in Med Surg (Renal Unit preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Serve as a patient advocate and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Maintain compliance with Indiana Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.

About the job:

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Experience: 1+ years of RN experience in a Med Surg preferably a Renal Unit
