Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, a 330+ bed acute care hospital in Conroe, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in collaboration with physicians and care teams.

You will assess, teach, and manage patient care using standardized nursing models, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and participate in continuous improvement to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and in good standing
• BLS or ACLS certification preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) required; degree must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and throughout shifts; report changes to the care team
• Monitor patient safety and regulatory compliance; identify and address risks
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
• Lead and delegate tasks to care team members as appropriate
• Engage in evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement initiatives
