Job summary

Morris Hospital in Morris, IL seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate care for childbearing patients within single-room maternity care. You will supervise and delegate to the patient care team, ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient satisfaction for gynecologic surgical and childbirth care.

• Current Illinois license with biennial renewal.
• Minimum of one year of LDRP or LDR experience required.
• Basic electronic fetal heart monitoring class preferred.
• Certified by the American Heart Association in CPR.
• Certified in infant resuscitation (NRP) within 30 days of hire.
• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

Supervises, directs and delegates to other patient care team members. Has accountability for gynecological surgical and childbearing patient/family care, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Serves as a clinical expert, role model, resource, supervisor and care integrator for the surgical and childbearing patient and her family.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional/Educational

Current Illinois license with biennial renewal.

Minimum of one year of LDRP or LDR experience required.

Basic electronic fetal heart monitoring class preferred.

Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Certified in infant resuscitation (NRP) within 30 days of hire.

DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
