Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Radiology Administration unit.

The role involves direct patient care before, during, and after diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures, with responsibilities including assessment, care planning, medication administration, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure.
• One year or greater of Radiology experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS required; PALS preferred.

Outpatient pediatric services are currently limited to MRI sedations and managed by a Pediatric Intensivist and 2 PALS certified Radiology NursesAdult/ Geriatric Patient ratio 1:2; Pediatric Patient ratio 1:1Our Care Team consists of Radiologists, Pediatric Intensivists, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses, Nursing Supervisor, Technologists, Access Coordinators and Unit ManagerSelf-directed scheduling; Weekend & Holiday Call Rotation 7 am- 7 p.m.Work Experience:Greater than one year of experience in ICU, Med-Surg, critical care, or emergency department is requiredOne year -or greater- of Radiology experience preferredThis role requires a high level of empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamCandidates must possess strong critical thinking, clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, high attention to detail, and autonomyACLS, BLS required; PALS preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English languageDemonstrates positive interpersonal skillsVerbal and written skills requiredDemonstrates effective organizational and leadership skillsHas knowledge of the age-specific physiological and psychosocial, developmental and spiritual needs of the patients typically servedPhysical Requirements:Speech and auditory acuity for communication of patient needsVisual acuity for observation of patientsMuch standing, walking, bending, and liftingMay involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious materialMust be able to lift 35 poundsRequired Licenses and CertificationsBLS - American Heart Association, RN - Board Of NursingCape Fear Valley Health System is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
