Job summary

Under the direction of the Imaging Services leadership, the Registered Nurse provides nursing care during radiological services in a highly specialized setting. You will ensure patient safety and high-quality testing, communicating effectively with patients, physicians, visitors and staff in a high-stress environment.

Required credentials include Texas RN license with ACLS/BCLS within 30 days. Radiation safety experience is needed, with preferred CRN and radiology–ICU/ED background to support

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in Radiology, ICU or ED is desired.
• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Experience with radiation safety required.
• Infant to adult radiology patient care experience preferred.
• CRN preferred.

• Maintain high quality (age specific) care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, as assigned

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general direction of the Director and Manager of Imaging Services, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of nursing care during radiological services of a highly specialized nature. to patients in accordance with physicians' orders. The Registered Nurse provides for patient safety and high quality testing. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with patient, physicians, visitors, and other staff members. Rapidly changing work demands require an ability to handle high stress environments.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.

• Previous clinical nursing experience in Radiology, ICU or ED is desired

• Experience with radiation safety required

• Experience with infant to adult radiology patients, preferred

• CRN preferred
