Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator to lead performance improvement efforts, coordinate with care teams, and drive initiatives aligned with the Plan of Care and Strategic Goals.

The role emphasizes building rapport across departments, supporting data collection/analysis, regulatory compliance, and education to sustain hospital-wide quality improvements.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in acute care/clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and support quality initiatives and activities of data collection and analysis.
  • Ensure regulatory preparedness and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Infection Control Nurse and Risk Manager on activities.
  • Work with Medical Staff Coordinator to stay abreast of department activities.
  • Promote collaboration across disciplines to solve problems.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As aRN Quality ManagementCoordinatoryou will clearly andprofessionally,communicate with all other disciplines, individually or in groups, a development and activation plan for performance improvements that coordinate withthe facilitiesPlan of Care, Strategic Goals, and Performance Improvement Plan.

What you will do in this role:

You willassistthe quality initiative by developing, coordinating, and supporting the qualityinitiatives/activities of data collection and analysis, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement education.

You will serveas a resource personandestablishgoodrapporttoall departments and medical staff.

You will encouragephysicianand hospital staff to worktogether solvingproblems when more than one discipline is involved.

You will workwithInfectionControl Nurse and Risk Manager to coordinate activities.

You will workwithMedicalStaff Coordinator to keep abreast of department activities.

You willassistwith regulatory preparedness.

You willassistwith hospital-wide Quality Committeesi.e.Quality Management Committee,Facilitatepeer review.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.BSN Preferred
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
  • Previousquality improvement,core/performance measurement, familiarity with CMS/JCAHO regulatoryand accreditationrequirementsstronglypreferred.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in acute care/clinical setting.
