Job summary

HCA HealthOne, serving the Denver metro area, seeks a Division Quality Coordinator to drive performance improvement and coordinate clinical quality initiatives within the system’s quality program.

The role requires Colorado RN licensure, a BS degree, strong communication and analytical skills, and project management experience; Meditech is a plus. The successful candidate will develop performance measures and support peer review and ongoing evaluation of professional practice.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse; CP HQ preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis, statistics, and performance improvement.
  • Experience in project management and analytical skills; Meditech a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of HCA HealthOne of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Quality Management Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting performance improvement activities to include developing and supporting clinical product line quality initiatives according to the strategic plan at HCA HealthOne. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

V. Position Requirements:

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

B. Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

C. Experience: Must possess outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and problem solving skills. Possess PC skills in a Windows environment, specifically EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint. Preferred experience in project management, analytical skills, performance improvement/redesign and Meditech a plus. Must like to work in a high performance environment and have a proven track record of success.

D. Special Qualifications: Must have the ability to design and develop performance measures, particularly as relates to medical staff and independent allied health professionals for peer review and ongoing professional practice evaluation. Must have experience in data analysis and statistical processes, experience in providing education and presentations, as well as policy and procedure development. Should have clinical experience that provides necessary knowledge and skill to assist medical staff leadership in evaluating competency of physicians and independent allied health professionals via peer review and ongoing evaluation, as well as providing guidance and assistance in implementing focused evaluations when needed.

III. Degree of supervision required:

Involves general guidance and direction by the VP of Quality. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedure
