Care New England Health System is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Night shift at Butler Hospital in Providence, RI. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with half paid at 6 months and the remainder at one year of employment.

The role provides direct patient care in line with ANA Psychiatric standards and the RI Nurse Practice Act. Duties include participating in treatment planning, coordinating emergencies, collaborating with the care team, administering medications, and serving as Charge Nurse

Formación

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RI nursing license required.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning.
• Coordinates psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure patient safety and overall unit safety.
• Participates as a team member by assisting staff and completing essential patient care tasks.
• Administers medications with knowledge of effects, administration, side effects, and contraindications.
• Assumes role of Charge Nurse for the shift.

Job Summary

We are offering a sign on bonus of $10,000 for new hire Staff Nurse, Night shift only. The first half is paid at 6 months and the second half will be paid at one year of employment.

Provides direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of their patients.
• Coordinates Psychiatric and/or Medical emergencies in such a manner that assures that the individual in crisis is properly cared for and that all other patients are safe.
• Participates as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.
• Administers medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
• Assumes role of Charge Nurse for the shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• B.S.N preferred.
• Current RI nursing license.
