Job summary

Care New England is seeking a Staff Nurse for the night shift to provide direct patient care in accordance with ANA standards and hospital policies. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with the first half paid at 6 months and the second half at 12 months of employment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with current RI nursing licensure; BSN preferred. The position supports coordinated care across Butler Hospital, Women & Infants Hospital, and other Care New England

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred; RI nursing license required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment planning to coordinate medical/nursing care and discharge planning.
• Coordinates psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure patient safety and staff coordination.
• Works as part of the team, supporting other staff and completing essential unit duties.
• Administers medications with knowledge of action, side effects, and contraindications.
• Assumes the role of Charge Nurse for the shift.

Job Summary

We are offering a sign on bonus of $10,000 for new hire Staff Nurse, Night shift only. The first half is paid at 6 months and the second half will be paid at one year of employment.

Provides direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of their patients.
• Coordinates Psychiatric and/or Medical emergencies in such a manner that assures that the individual in crisis is properly cared for and that all other patients are safe.
• Participates as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.
• Administers medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
• Assumes role of Charge Nurse for the shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• B.S.N preferred.
• Current RI nursing license.
