Friends Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This part-time position offers 24 hours per week across 2-12s or 3-8s shifts, delivering direct patient care within our inpatient psychiatric units.

You will assess patients, support treatment teams, ensure safety, and contribute to education for patients, families, and staff while maintaining accurate documentation in the treatment plan and nursing care plans.

The Registered Nurse (RN): provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team; provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensure consistent carry-through; makes patient & task assignments to subordinates & monitor their performance of duties; provides training & education to staff, patients, families, & others; documents patient care, ensure that data is accurate, & that it is included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates; works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
