Job summary

Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse - Psych to provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge. You will review and document care, outcomes, and evaluations, applying evidence-based practices at the bedside.

The role requires ADN, KY RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, and Crisis Prevention training within 6 months. Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.

Part-Time 7a - 7p

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.

• Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
• Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent experience in psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
