Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted RN license in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients in an inpatient behavioral health environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients experiencing mental health conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and maintain accurate and detailed records of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective treatment plans.
• Educate patients regarding mental health management, medication compliance, and coping strategies.
• Participate in crisis intervention and utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
