Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide and manage patient care in a clinical area. The role requires Alabama RN licensure, CPR certification (or within 30 days), and ACLS/PALS eligibility under location rules.

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, with TKC sites sometimes requiring an Associate's degree. This is an on-site hospital opportunity within a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Alabama
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
• ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months for TKC areas and 1 month for Hospital locations
• PALS certification preferred in TKC areas

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient population.
• Deliver care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Interact effectively with patients, families and health team members while maintaining professional nursing standards
