Summary
This Registered Nurse - Reusable Medical Device Program Manager/Coordinator position is located within the Sterile Processing Service Line of the VA Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury location. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ACEN or CCNE)
- Or enrolled in a master's level nursing bridge program with equivalent coursework
- Or foreign nursing graduates with current unrestricted registration
- Current active and unrestricted nursing license in a US state, territory, or DC
- Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) exception available if licensure is pursued

- Preferred experience: 3+ years in surgical instrumentation and operating room
- Physical requirements: Ability to perform duties; pre-placement physical required
Duties
- Monitor quality assurance in sterilization processes
- Ensure compliance with national standards
- Coordinate with hospital staff on RME/RMD
- Manage safety alerts, recalls, inspections, and documentation
- Participate in SOP creation and review
- Act as liaison for vendor activities and collaborate with operating room staff
- Manage special orders and ensure proper delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned
