A leading healthcare provider in Kansas City is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care across various settings, including hospital, virtual, and community environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, patient advocacy, and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. Responsibilities include monitoring patient data, triaging care, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes through proactive care and collaboration with healthcare teams.
In hospital setting: Accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating tasks, supervising staff, and coordinating care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates proficiency and adherence to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
In Virtual setting: Functions independently, utilizing the nursing process with increasing judgment in data interpretation and prioritization. Initiates practice improvements, collaborates with colleagues, delegates appropriately, and assumes preceptor roles as needed. Provides tele-nursing care to a diverse patient population across departments, focusing on patient advocacy, prevention, proactive monitoring, evidence-based care, and ethical standards. Monitors patient data via intelligent software, partners with bedside staff, and aims to identify early signs of issues to reduce complications.
In clinic setting: Provide professional nursing care, triage, coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, perform procedures such as IV insertion, delegate tasks, serve as a subject matter expert, and manage patient documentation and testing. Capable of working autonomously or in teams, delivering excellent customer service and professionalism.
In Community Hospital setting: Manage patient care per state standards, triage and prioritize, initiate stabilization, collect history and vital signs, perform lab tests, report adverse reactions, and participate in quality improvement activities.
In ASC setting: Provide nursing care, triage, coordinate, schedule, delegate, educate, and document patient care, working independently or as part of a team. May perform additional duties such as collecting patient history, lab tests, and reporting.
Applicable Experience: 2 years
Certifications: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross), Registered Nurse (Associate Degree)
