Job Description

1. Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
2. Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
3. Coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients and consult with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
4. Provide professional nursing care in a clinic setting, including telephone triage, patient flow management, and coordination of care.
5. Schedule emergent patient appointments, identify learning needs, and provide advice and recommendations.
6. Insert intravenous access, administer medications, and perform duties as assigned based on clinic needs.
7. Delegate tasks to clinical staff according to demonstrated competencies and scope of practice.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation.
9. Enter admission orders as directed by the provider and manage expired samples.
10. Work effectively in a team environment or autonomously.
11. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
12. May cover Medical Assistant, LPN, or other office duties as needed.

Job Requirements

1. Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
