Job summary

BrightStar Care of Collegeville is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion Nurse to lead the growth of their infusion services. This flexible, Per-Diem role requires at least 3 years of clinical experience and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Responsibilities include performing care as defined by the individual Plan of Care and monitoring patient conditions. The position offers an hourly pay range of $42-$50 and benefits including 401(k), weekly pay, and free continuing education.

Qualifications

• Three (3)+ years of clinical experience with one (1) year in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility preferred.
• Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.
• Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is provided.

• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care.
• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
• Provide services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.

Position Summary

We are actively looking to welcome an experienced Home Infusion Nurse into our family to lead the growth and development of our Home Infusion business. Working closely with our National Account partners and Care Managers this position will be Per-Diem with a high level of flexibility to work around another job or personal commitments. Responsible for quality, adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff. The Infusion Nurse is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to. Key Responsibilities

• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act


• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes


• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill


• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws


• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Three (3)+ years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.


• Education: Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.


• Licenses / Certifications (if applicable): Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided.


• Skills: Prior experience with Peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Therapy (CRNI, OCN preferred).
