Job summary

Avera Prince of Peace-Skilled Nursing in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Part-time RN to join our care team on a PRN basis. You will provide direct resident care, review orders with the team, and ensure accurate care planning and communication.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice upon hire.
• 1–3 years experience in clinical or long-term care environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the care plan to the health care team.
• Develop and update nursing care plans based on resident condition and family input.
• Educate residents and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluate care outcomes and adjust nursing plans to meet standards and resident needs.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled environment and proper medication handling.
