Job summary

Avera Prince of Peace Skilled Nursing seeks an RN to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a multidisciplinary setting. You will assess residents, review prescriptions, and coordinate with the care team to maintain high standards of support for patients and families.

You will educate residents and relatives about care plans, medications, and self-care, while adhering to safety and infection control policies in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with standard sensory abilities.
• 1-3 years experience in clinical or long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care by reviewing prescriptions and communicating the nursing plan with the health care team.
• Develops care plans by assessing residents, documenting status, and coordinating with family and staff.
• Teaches residents and families about condition, medications, and self-care skills.
• Evaluates care by monitoring outcomes and updating the nursing plan.
• Maintains a safe care environment and adheres to infection control and policy.
