• Educates patients and families on care goals, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates care by comparing outcomes to standards and updating plans as needed.
• Maintains a safe care environment and adheres to infection-control policies.
• Keeps equipment and supplies stocked and maintained.
• Coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Directs workflow of nursing assistants and other staff.
• Maintains ongoing competence as directed by leadership.
