BrightStar Care in Northbrook, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for PRN home health, delivering one-to-one care in patients' homes across Illinois. You will assess needs, implement care plans, and provide skilled nursing services within the RN scope.

The role offers flexible scheduling, independence with ongoing clinical support, and meaningful patient relationships. You will document thoroughly, ensure HIPAA compliance, and contribute to positive patient outcomes in home settings.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Illinois or Compact license valid in Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Active driver's license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• 3–5 years clinical nursing experience (preferred).
• BSN degree preferred; home health or primary care experience.

Responsabilités

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois OR a Compact Multi-State RN License valid in Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

Preferred

• 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
• Previous experience in home health, primary care, or a healthcare facility
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift during patient care activities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Visual and hearing acuity sufficient to safely perform nursing duties

Schedule

• PRN and Part-Time hours
• Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and nurse availability
