Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN for corrections, offering $47.69 per hour. Responsibilities include assessing and planning treatment, administering medications, and documenting care.

Shifts are 06:30–19:00 or 18:30–07:00, with a minimum of four shifts per month including at least one weekend shift and holiday coverage. A current RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of clinic experience.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs with Charge Nurse and staff.
• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Count controlled substances and implement care per policies and protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP and attend mandatory trainings.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, supervisory personnel as necessary.

Compensation Information: $47.69 - $47.69 / hour

Department (Org): Nursing

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary.
• Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or other staff as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of clinic experience.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Shift Details

Shifts are 0630-1900 or 1830-0700. Minimum 4 shifts per month, including at least 1 weekend shift. Holiday requirement applies.
