Job summary

Proactive MD is seeking a Registered Nurse to support clinical operations in our onsite wellness centers. You will perform clinical functions under the provider, engage in patient assessments, and help deliver compassionate, comprehensive care.

This role emphasizes patient-centered service, adherence to OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelines, and collaboration with providers, families, and care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• An active and in good standing Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• 1+ year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient assessments, including vital signs and pre-examination procedures.
• Documents objective and subjective data and assessments in the patient record.
• Assists the providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Provides patient health counseling and instruction, including meeting with families and caregivers.
• Completes medication reconciliation, management, patient compliance, inventory, education.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Provides excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, and caregivers.
• The position may include triage of calls for urgent appointments, referrals for patient consults and testing, insurance pre-certification, and documentation.
