Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, providers, and co-workers.
• Prepare patients to be seen by the provider through triage, assessment, and follow-up information.
• Perform tests such as selected laboratory tests, EKGs, spirometry, inhalation treatments, annual physicals, visual screening, and audiometry.
• Prepare medications and administer injections as ordered by the provider.
• Assist providers with procedures and treatments as needed.
• Check expiration dates on drugs, vaccines, and products; dispose of expired items per guidelines.
• Manage health center inventory and supplies.

Job Summary

The mission of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is to support the health and wellness center's clinical and clerical operations. As directed by the provider, the LPN assists the provider and performs appropriate tests and procedures. The LPN is responsible for administrative tasks for the health and wellness center and may assist the Patient Advocate in employee engagement and outreach.

Job Description

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Current state LPN license in good standing
