Centennial Heart in Nashville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift role with no nights, weekends, or holidays. This PRN-turned-regular position focuses on clinical excellence and compassionate patient care within a supportive team.

You will manage patient flow, provide nursing care, educate patients and families on medications, and maintain accurate records in compliance with physician orders and facility policies. Join a values-driven team committed to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.
