Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time daytime role in San Antonio, TX. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (days) with no nights, on-call, weekends, or holidays.

You will provide clinical nursing care, coordinate patient flow, and support families with education on medications and treatments. The ideal candidate has nursing licensure, graduation from an accredited RN program, and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage smooth patient flow including screening, exam prep, basic nursing care, and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed).
• Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
