Job summary

Roseville Surgery Center is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment focused on high-quality patient care. The RN PreOp/PostOp provides perioperative nursing care from pre-op through PACU, following nursing process and center policies.

The role is part-time (20–29 hours per week) with a Monday–Friday schedule and some Saturday hours as needed. No on-call or night shifts; benefits and competitive pay are offered in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current California Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications per AHA.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU; ambulatory setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions with composure.
• Excellent teaching, communication, and organizational skills.
• Teamwork and customer service orientation; professional ethics.

Roseville Surgery Center has an opening for a part time Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp.

Roseville Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Pre Op Post gives quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN PreOp Post provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN PreOp PostOp supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Part Time requires 20 - 29 hours/ week.

Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needs

NO call required, NO Nights

Pay Range: $50.00 - $72.00 / hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills:

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS accredited by AHA
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU.Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
• Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededExcellent teaching skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
