Surgery Center of Columbia is seeking a Full Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our outpatient surgical team. You will plan, direct and coordinate nursing care for pre- or post-surgical patients, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call; some later evenings may be required. We offer competitive pay and robust benefits to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in Missouri.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre/post-surgical patients.
• Ensure highest quality and safe delivery of patient care with standards compliance.
• Cares for patients from 1 month to geriatric.

The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
