Job summary

IU Health Bloomington Hospital is seeking experienced nurses to join our Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology team. You will provide bedside care, assist in procedures, and monitor patients under sedation on 8a-8p shifts with 3–12 hour blocks.

We offer a $30,000 sign-on bonus for eligible part-time and full-time roles and a referral program. We value teamwork, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: candidates with >2 years acute care experience may be considered.
• BLS certification required; other advanced life support may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Support Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Administer sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Provide bedside nursing care across 3–12 hour shifts.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members in IU Health Bloomington.
• Assist with orientation and credentialing as needed.

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible.

Shift: Receiving and Recovery supporting Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Radiology, bedside cardiac procedures. 3 -12hr shifts per week 8a-8p. No weekends or holidays.

The Cardiac Cath Lab, equipped with 6 labs shared with EP & IR. They specialise in minimally invasive cardiac care for a wide variety of adult patients ranging in acuity. Additionally, they actively support the patient during procedures by administering sedation and closely monitoring patients. A limited radiography license course will be provided after orientation. Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
