Responsibilities

The RN is responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions. Supports professional nursing practice, functions within the Mayo Nursing Care Model, and provides leadership through various roles. Delegates patient care appropriately and demonstrates excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; baccalaureate preferred.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Flexible working hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Leadership and critical thinking skills.

Licenses/Certifications

• Current RN license.
• BLS competency.
• ACLS in Florida.
