Responsibilities:

The RN coordinates nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions. Supports professional nursing practice across settings, functions within the Mayo Nursing Care Model, and provides leadership through various roles and quality improvement efforts. Delegates care based on skill, experience, and resources. Excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills are essential. Participation in committees or projects is encouraged.

This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. F1 status holders eligible for OPT are welcome to apply. The role requires state licensure and certification such as VisaScreen.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a nursing program; Baccalaureate preferred.
• One year RN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Teamwork experience.
• Computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.
• Leadership and critical thinking skills.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current RN license.
• BLS competency.
• ACLS in Florida.

Additional Details:

• Nonexempt status.
• Part-time schedule: 48 hours per pay period, 0830-2100 shifts, call rotations, weekends/nights/holidays.
