Compass Surgical Partners in Midlothian, VA, seeks a Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and stepdown care in a Monday-Friday day-shift ASC setting. This PRN role focuses on patient assessment, perioperative care, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safe procedures and optimal outcomes.

The RN will monitor recovery, document care, educate patients, and maintain sterile environments while following safety protocols.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of pre-op/PACU nursing experience (within last 3–5 years).
• Current BLS; ACLS required within 6 months.

St. Francis Ambulatory Surgery Center is an ASC located in Midlothian, VA. With two operating rooms and one procedure room, the center will provide high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical care across multiple specialties.

Owned and operated in partnership with BSMH and Compass Surgical Partners (an ASC management organization), the center will combine advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care in a convenient outpatient setting.

Targeting Hire date of 1/4/2027

Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Hours: PRN, during Monday-Friday day shift

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity
• Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas
• PRN, on-site position (Monday-Friday)
