Chattanooga Pain Surgery Center is seeking a compassionate Pre-Admissions RN to join our team in preparing patients for procedures by ensuring medical optimization and informed consent. • Active TN RN license (or compact state) and BLS certification.
• Experience in Pre-Admissions or Pre-Op.

About the Role:

As a Pre-Admissions RN, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for their upcoming procedures by ensuring they are medically optimized and fully informed. You’ll conduct pre-op assessments, review medical histories, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, and provide patient education—all while delivering exceptional care.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments for all our ambulatory surgery patients
• Review medical histories, medications, and necessary clearances to ensure surgical readiness
• Educate patients on pre-op and post-op care, setting them up for a smooth recovery
• Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate, patient-centered support

What We’re Looking for:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state license) and BLS certification
• Experience in Pre-Admissions or Pre Op
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
