SGMC Health in Valdosta, GA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care on the Postpartum unit during a 12‑hour night shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.). The role requires current Georgia RN licensure, CPR, and completion of Basic Fetal Monitoring within one year.
You will assess patients, perform procedures, document care, and coordinate the plan with physicians. Strong clinical nursing skills, critical thinking, and teamwork are essential to support the hospital's mission and standards.

Works primarily in a hospital or clinic setting. Requires considerable standing, mental effort, stooping, bending, lifting (in excess of fifty (50) lbs.), pushing objects (carts, beds, and wheelchairs). Likely to be exposed to blood and body fluids, including infectious diseases. May rarely require accompanying and assisting with patient transport to another facility. Uses medical equipment, telecommunications devices and patient information systems on a regular basis. Physical functional capacity for healthcare workers as defined by the Saunders Method (very heavy).
