Job summary

MEDIKO is seeking a Registered Nurse in Lynnwood, WA for full-time night shifts. The RN will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, perform assessments, administer medications, treatments, and respond to emergencies.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards. Strong CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certificaton required.
• 1–3 years healthcare experience, preferably in correctional setting.
• Experience with direct patient care or regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies related to correctional care.
• Demonstrated time management and adherence to protocols in fast-paced settings.

Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Lynnwood Jail, Lynnwood, WA

Status: Full Time, 12 hour night shifts.

Salary: $54-$62, Placement on scale is determined by the candidate's level of job-related experience.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response. This role will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards. The RN will also educate patients on health conditions, monitor their progress, and contribute to a safe and effective healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• A current, valid state(s) licensure, certificate and/or credentials documenting ability to practice in applicable role (RN).
• An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare or similar environment.
• Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, adhere to protocols, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, structured environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved).
